This is not the first time we’ve been shortlisted for the Inspire Business Awards, the leading awards in North Hampshire that recognise business excellence. As a Basingstoke-based company, we pride ourselves on employing local, homegrown talent and putting employees through apprenticeship courses at the local college to bring them into the business. We also encourage all employees to pursue continuous professional development regardless of their role, age, or experience. Many are currently undertaking additional studies to support their position within the business, all funded by the company.
As the company continues to grow, our commitment to staff has become more visible and measurable with the recent employment of a dedicated Training & Development manager. Flexible working is a way of working that suits an employee’s needs. We understand that a standard working week doesn’t suit everyone work-life balance. We employ a number of people that work part time, flexible hours, as well as working from home.
We also now has a Mental Health First Aider on-site to ensure that all employees are trained to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis.
