How can TMflow 2.20 help your business?
TMflow 2.20 introduces significant advancements to Techman Robots’ flow-based programming software, empowering TM cobot programmers and business owners to enhance efficiency across their operations. In this article, we’ll explore the key features of the update and how they can benefit your business!
Main features of TMflow 2.20
- Configurable light indication
The addition of configurable light indications allows users to tailor light indications to their specific application environments. Users can configure the light indication based on the application environment, such as photolithography manufacturing.
- TMscript velocity & position control commands
Users can now set the robot’s velocity and position with TMscripts’ relevant functions
- Direct project deployment from TMflow simulator
When your cobot is not executing any projects and no other users have control of the robot, projects can be deployed directly from TMflow simulator making the project creation process even more efficient.
- TM landmark 2.0
TM landmark 2.0 has improved recognition stability by using a redesigned landmark. The new landmark was designed and printed in a way that ensures higher printing accuracy and greater durability. An error detection mechanism has also been introduced whereby the calculation of the landmark recognition score takes into account blur weight and corner failure weight, both of which account for a decrease in the score.
- EIH camera API
The EIH Camera API allows developers to read or write the EIH Camera’s parameters and acquire instant images to build custom vision systems.
- Support for user-defined EtherCAT devices
Users can now customise their own EtherCAT F/T sensor devices and define the output type of the TMcraft Node, enhancing flexibility and user experience.
- Flying trigger for vision inspection
This feature enables robots to capture images continuously during motion without stopping, boosting efficiency in tasks like PCB and automotive component inspections. It’s perfect for high-speed, precision-driven environments.
- Instance segmentation
Techman Robots can now identify, count, and locate object categories through advanced vision capabilities. This is ideal for sorting and quality inspection tasks where categorisation and precision are crucial.
- Object pose transformation
Enhanced picking strategies prevent collisions during automated operations, streamlining workflows and improving overall efficiency. This is particularly valuable for 2.5D applications and collision-sensitive processes.
- Motion with extra load
Models such as the TM25S and the TM30S now support heavier payloads under specific conditions, increasing their versatility in industrial applications where larger or heavier items need handling.
- Improved singularity handling
With new path and speed adjustment methods, robots navigate through singularities more smoothly, ensuring uninterrupted operations and maintaining programmed trajectories.
